Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman
- The general theme of this book was that there are two systems of thinking that different people use every day that help us make decisions, but at the same time can also cause us to make mistakes.
- In my opinion, this book is connected with and has enhanced my learning in ENT3003 because it can show the different ways that customers think, allowing entrepreneurs to more effectively communicate with them.
- An exercise based on this book that could be used in this class would be to have students identify which type of thinking system a customer uses based on their characteristics.
- My biggest surprise from this book is that people tend to spend most of their time using System 1 thinking.
Hi! The book, Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman, that you did for your reading reflection I do the same book as well and I found that it was very interesting how we came up with different exercises for the class while reading the same book. Also, I agree with you that this book and this class combined can show how customers think which will allow the entrepreneur to be more effective with customer relations.
ReplyDeleteHey, from your description I like this book I may think about reading it for myself. It seems that the concept is very intellectual. At moments when it requires slow thinking it is when something needs careful consideration and a good choice of action. Then when something needs less careful consideration it when you think fast about it. Great Job.
